Initial Consultation - 90 Minutes

  1. The initial, required consultation is a detailed evaluation of your current physical well-being. We will discuss any current or previous pains and injuries you may have to get an understanding of your history.

  2. The consultation involves a posture assessment with photos, then gait and/or activity analysis which is videoed (running and walking on a self propelled treadmill) and analysed in slow motion. This will highlight any dysfunctions present and is a crucial part of the appointment as it enables us to tailor a program that suits your body and not just a cookie-cutter approach.

  3. Following this, we will take you through self myofascial release techniques using medicine balls, lacrosse balls, theracanes, PVC pipes and other tools to promote hydration of muscles, decompression and release of restrictions/dysfunctions that are common in causing chronic pain.

  4. Specific postural correctives, chambers, and dynamic exercises may follow depending on how your body handles each level of exercise and your level of fitness

  • In these sessions minimal gym clothing is required so the joints and ribcage are as visible as possible

INITIAL CONSULT $160

1 on 1 Training - 60 Minutes

Following your initial consultation, we will continue to build upon the techniques learned through correctives, chambers and dynamic exercises. Posture, Gait cycle and movement results are our number one metric to judge progress objectively. So further pictures/videos will be taken in sessions which will give me a reference point to assess your development/improvement.

Ongoing/Throughout (your) sessions we will continue on correcting dysfunctions that lead you into pain and build new functional patterns. This is in preparation for dynamic ballistic/functional training and will result in a decrease in pain, while improving movement, agility, strength, posture, aesthetics and overall quality of life.

Self Myofascial Release

Our bodies train and move better when they are supple, elastic and free. Myofascial release is a self-massage technique that addresses the root of dysfunction by releasing tightness in isolated areas of the body breaking down hardened and scarred muscle tissue.

Using tools such as medicine balls, lacrosse balls, theracanes, PVC pipes and other tools/objects also promotes hydration of muscles, decompression and release of restrictions/dysfunctions that are common in causing chronic pain.

This method helps to start balancing out the tissues in the body, making it easier to pave the way for further corrective and dynamic work pain free.

I teach my clients easy steps in Self Myofascial techniques. All you need is a ball saving you money you’d usually spend on a massage. Self Myofascial release can set you on a path of freedom and body openness that can change your body more than hours in the gym ever could.
